Can men use NuvesseMD products?

Yes, men can use NuvesseMD products. The Roller is very easy for men to use throughout the day to treat wrinkles or targeted skin concerns. In using the facial mask, it's important that men use the mask on clean and shaven skin. The mask isn't designed to adhere to facial hair, so if you have a mustache, goatee, or beard, the full facial mask won't fit right, but the eye mask is available as an option for those men sporting facial hair.

What is the difference between a biocellulose mask and a sheet mask?

NuvesseMD serums are only available in biocellulose masks. The Biocellulose material originated in wound healing science, where it has been proven highly useful in helping soothe the skin due to its natural moisture containing qualities. Biocellulose is a natural fiber derived from coconut that conforms tightly to the skin and can hold large amounts of ingredients, allowing more active nutrients to reach the skin. In fact, our biocellulose facial mask holds a full 35mL of serum, which is what you typically find in a whole bottle of leading serums.

Sheet masks are typically made from paper material and originated in Korea. They do not conform directly to the face and can often be very messy and drippy. The paper fibers are coarser than biocellulose and aren't able to contain the same volume of ingredients.

Product Usage:

How long do I wear the mask?

For maximum benefit, please wear your mask for at least 45 minutes so all of the active ingredients have time to penetrate deeply into the skin. However, if you only have 20-30 minutes, you will still notice a wonderful change to your skin.

How frequently do I use the mask?

For optimal results, we suggest you wear the facial or body mask weekly and use the eye masks twice a week. If you want to apply more frequently, you'll only improve your results.

Where do I apply an Anytime serum roller?

For Serum rollers 5 (Deep Hydrating) and 7 (Firming + Anti-Aging), apply your serum anywhere you need treatment on the face, brow, chin, etc. Just pat to absorb any excess and please avoid any direct contact with the eye or eyelid.

Serum rollers 21 (Crow's Feet + Fine Lines) and 23 (Tired Eyes, Puffiness + Dark Circles) are designed to address concerns around the eye. Apply to wrinkles, bags, fine lines and dark circles around the eye area, patting to absorb any excess as needed. Please avoid contact directly with the eye itself or the eyelid.

How frequently do I apply the Anytime serum roller?

Apply morning and night after cleansing and on the go as desired.

Can I use the Anytime serum roller over my make-up?

You can. The serum can penetrate through make-up into the skin. Please test a small area first to ensure that you don't have an adverse reaction and that it doesn't smear your make-up. And please avoid the eye area.

Can I use NuvesseMD products with my current skin care regimen?

Absolutely. NuvesseMD was designed to complement your existing skincare regimen. Just add the mask that's right for you weekly to enhance your results. Then, between treatments, maintain results with our Anytime serum roller.

Can I use more than one product at the same time?

Yes, all of the serums were specifically designed to be complementary to one another and can be used in combination. You can use whatever combination of mask and serum roller that's right for your needs.

And, if you'd like to target both your face and eyes, you can use each product weekly. Just rotate the order of your masks. For instance, you could do a facial mask on Sunday night and an eye mask on Wednesday night and use the Roller serums in between both treatments in the morning and evening to maintain your results. Layering serums has been found to increase the effects of product ingredients.

Can I use this after having laser treatments, microdermabrasion or Botox? How long should I wait after having the treatment?

The Serum #3 Post-Treatment mask was designed specifically for post-procedure care and has been clinically studied. Can I sleep in a NuvesseMD mask?

Yes, if you are comfortable sleeping with the mask on, it will adhere during rest if you're not a super active sleeper. In the morning, the mask will be dry on the skin, but should still remove quite easily. If you have any trouble, just splash water on your face and the mask will come right off.

Can I wear a mask more than one time?

NuvesseMD masks are designed for single-use and should be discarded after one wearing.
